Who We Are
In 1997, our partners began to bring together over 70 years experience in Human Resources, Information Technology, Sales, Marketing and Executive Management to create the company that is now SolomonSwann International.
At SolomonSwann, we look to the greatest source of all wisdom and operate first from a base of Godly values. Our company’s first name comes from King Solomon of the Bible in honor of his regard for wisdom. Secondly, we operate from a collective base of marketplace experience.
To our clients we deliver personal, professional service in Executive Recruiting, Staffing Solutions, and Human Resources consulting. To our candidates, we deliver help in making career improvements and personal coaching in presenting your talents and abilities to the marketplace.

Our Executive Team
Thom Besso
Founder, President, Managing Partner
Thom Besso, a graduate of the College of New Jersey, is Founder and President with SolomonSwann International and brings over 20 years of recruiting and management experience. Thom has an industry reputation for his unique skills in sourcing, critiquing, and qualifying candidates. Before joining SolomonSwann, Thom held senior management positions and corporate recruiting positions in the retail and petroleum industries. His corporate recruiting experience was diversified with the recruitment of positions from sales, marketing, and management to accounting, finance, and information technology.
Thom has experience in the development of recruiting and interviewing models. He has traveled the country as a career development speaker on many of the nation’s college campuses.
Thom has served as the chairman and chief advisor of the finance and banking network for NPA. National Personnel Association is an international coalition of over 400 elite executive search firms.
Thom is highly active in his community. He holds a black belt in Kenpo Karate and volunteers his time to teach and mentor youth in the Houston area. He is also involved in several missions projects where he travels and works in third world countries including Haiti and Honduras.
Sandy Swann
Partner, Search Services

Sandy Swann, a graduate of the University of Texas, is Partner of Recruiting Services for SolomonSwann International. She brings over 20 years of technical and project management experience. Sandy’s functional roles include overseeing financial, technical, and administrative operations. She is highly adept at sourcing and screening difficult to find candidates, as well as providing company profiles and other supporting data.
Sandy is also an active, licensed Mortgage Loan Originator and able to assist in the mortgages of candidates that we relocate to Texas as well as refinancing current mortgages.
In her spare time, Sandy teaches Yoga at a local gym. She is an avid snow skier and loves to hike the mountains of British Columbia. She is also actively involved with her church and several non-profit organizations.
Sandy has been involved in various mission projects since 1982 supporting works both financially and physically. Here are a few of her pet non-profit organizations:
- From ground zero to stateside fundraising, Sandy has a passion for mission work in Haiti and travels to Haiti at least once a year. She has worked with Hope for Haiti’s Children since 2001 and served on their board for three years: www.hopeforhaitischildren.org
- She is also passionate about working with slaves to human trafficking through www.thelanding.org.
- Sandy also loves and works with the Haiti Christian Development Project which seeks to empower Haitians to be self-sufficient: www.HCDP.net
- Sandy served as a counselor and volunteer at Second Mile Missions a local resource center ministering to Hurricane Katrina, Rita and Harvey survivors. www.secondmile.org.
Peter Gudenzi
Technology and Science Resources
Peter Gudenzi is a graduate in Economics from Villanova University. He gained management and technical experience in large commercial organizations before founding Mountaintop Software, a value-added reseller, and software application development firm. Peter brings over 19 years of software application experience with several large companies, with expertise in the areas of application consulting, software development, and customer relationship development. As a software developer, he has implemented, customized, interfaced, and upgraded many Enterprise-wide applications with a specific focus on financial, supply chain, and manufacturing business areas. Peter has established a wide network of professional relationships in many diverse industries.
Peter is involved in the Dads for Others program operated through a local high school. This program calls for Peter and his oldest son to help less fortunate members of the community by periodically serving at soup kitchens and delivering meals to the elderly. Additionally, Peter is a marathon runner and skier.
